3rd Annual BIM Conference www.bimconference.me Dubai, United Arab Emirates- February 25-26, 2015: For the third year in a row, the Annual Building Information Modeling conference was successfully inaugurated on the February 25, 2015 at the Ritz-Carlton in the DIFC area in Dubai. The Center for Integrated Facilities Engineering at Stanford University, Consolidated Contractors Company, Projacs Academy and the Higher Colleges of Technology UAE organized the conference that gathered over 150 BIM professionals, senior managers, industry experts and academics from the Engineering, Construction and real-estate development industry. The Two-day conference was the culmination of the speakers' expertise and their knowledge, deployment of advanced BIM practices, and the strategic decisions implemented by globally leading firms aspiring to leverage BIM to the maximum. Well known figures and VIPs attended the conference including Dr. Martin Fischer, Professor of Civil Engineering at Stanford University, Zuhair Haddad, CIO at CCC and Luay Khoury, CEO of Projacs International. The event saw the participation of some of the largest multinational construction and engineering companies including CCC, DPR, Max-Bogl, Ramboll and others. BIM technology and service providers included CCT International, Bentley Systems, Bexel, BIM Middle East, and others.
